Howard Lederer was born into in a family of 5 in which he liked playing numerous card games when he was young. Howard also helped his sister Annie Duke master the game of poker. Annie Duke was a great student of the game as she constantly asked questions about the right way to make the proper decision. Howard told Annie to head out to Sin City and play in the World Series of Poker tournaments. She is one of the greatest women players the poker world has ever seen. Howard moved to Las Vegas in Nineteen Ninety Three and played money games for the subsequent 10 years. When the WPT gained popularity, Howard decided to play more tournaments.
