Pai Gow Poker is a cutting-edge game with ancient origins. Based on the old Chinese tile game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the east with the wild west in a great game for beginner level gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler versus the casino, unlike most other poker games that gamblers bet against other gamblers. By playing against the dealer, starting players don’t need to worry about any other, more advanced individuals winning their cash.
An additional Pai Gow benefit is the fairly leisurely game pace, novices should be able to take their time and plan while not having to make quick selections.
It’s also easier to play for a long time with basically a tiny bit of money seeing as, to lose, each of your hands needs to be lower than both of the houses hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The player is dealt seven cards faces showing and the house is dealt 7 cards faces hidden.
One five card hand and one 2 card hand have to be put together from the 7 cards, the 5 card hand has to be better than the two card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be higher than the houses.
