No Joke, huge amounts of people are trying to be the next "mega star" in poker, but here is a short list of four of the more well known "great guys" of poker. Even though "nice" is associated with their names when you are sitting accross the table from them it is "no more Mr. Nice guy" until they have put you out of the game!

Daniel Negreanu

In Two Thousand and Four, his competition earnings amounted to more than $4.4 million and he came away with two highly respected awards in the WSOP Player of the Year and Cardplayer Magazine’s Tournament Player of the Year. In February Two Thousand and Six he was appointed Card Player’s Preferred Poker Player. Daniel still has the humility to talk with his fans about how they might advance their own game.

Howard Lederer

Referred to as "The Professor" and sibling of fellow poker pro Annie Duke. His achievements have allowed him to make an educational poker video called "Secrets of No Limit Hold’em" and co holding a tournament poker show for Fox. As of Two Thousand and Five, his total life earnings surpass $2.7 million.

Scotty Nguyen

Scotty is 1 of the busiest players in professional poker and between 2000 and Two Thousand and Four he finished in the money in excess of 100 tournaments. He’s notorious for saying "yeah baby" throughout poker games and also credited with the term "that’s poker baby" when alluding to a especially bad beat. As of Two Thousand and Six, his life time winnings are almost $6 million.

Chris Ferguson

Chris has captured 5 World Series of Poker titles with two of his wins coming in 2003. Has the alias "Jesus" because of his trademark long hair and beard, along with his ability to throw playing cards fast enough to slice through bananas and pickles. As of Two Thousand and Five his total poker tourney earnings exceeded five million dollars.
