Double-hand Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Built on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the western in a fantastic game for beginner level gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler versus the casino, not like nearly all other poker games that gamblers compete with other gamblers. By playing against the dealer, starting players do not need to fret about other, more skillful gamblers taking their moolla.

A further Pai Gow advantage is the generally slow game play, newcomers can take their time and scheme while not having to make quick selections.

It is also much simpler to enjoy for a very long time with only a little amount of money seeing as, to lose, each of your hands must be lower than each of the houses hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card standard deck and one joker. The player is given 7 cards faces showing and the dealer is given seven cards face down.

A 5 card hand and one two card hand have to be made from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be stronger than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be higher than the dealer’s.
