No Cost poker tournaments are daily competitions that happen on quite a few of the best internet poker sites. Freerolls are greatly favored by the poker betting community as they offer the poker competitors the hopes to gain some actual $$$$$ without squandering any. The buyin to these freerolls is – as their titles suggests – free and jackpot $$$$ can vary from a couple of bucks for a placing to hundreds of dollars for capturing the huge freeroll holdem poker tournaments.
So how come the poker sites have free tournaments? Is it as a result of their extremely big-hearted nature and the fact that they make huge amounts of $$$$$ so they have a societal requirement to bestow some of it back?

No of course it is not, the reason that the big poker rooms offer free tournaments is to draw folks to their poker site.
Here is the theory condensed – You hear that a site has a great freeroll, it costs you nada to enter and you can acquire 100 dollars. You think "awesome!" and you head over to the site and get registered as a member so that you can participate in the freeroll. You can compete in and get knocked out early and are annoyed because you perceive you should have performed better, or you get near the end and so you are wanting some additional action. So what happens? You spend some $$$$ at the poker room and bet on another poker match!
Always investigate the free tournaments for cash-out stipulations, you will almost always need to gamble on a couple of hands for actual cash before they allow you take the cash out. Generally this is on a one to one basis, so if you capture $20 at the freeroll poker tournament you’ll have to have gambled for 20 dollars in bonafide money in order for you to be able to extract the $$$$$.
